Item # 11867
David Kasman, 2004. Oil on canvas. This painting features several of Boston's landmarks.
The John Hancock and the Prudential towers dominate the skyline. Barely readable on the concrete bridge
supports are the painted signs that read "MIT CREW" and illustrate the Tufts paw-print. The famous CITGO
sign is visable between two bridge girders. The painting depicts the "Head of the Charles" regatta a few years
ago when it was overcast and wet during the entire event which made the scene even more dramatic.
42 1/2" x 32" (framed).
