Brookline Village Antiques originated as a small antiques shop on Boston's famous Charles Street in 1978. In 1983 the shop was relocated to Brookline Village and thus the name Brookline Village Antiques was established and incorporated.

As the business grew, a strong association with the design community developed and in 1986 Brookline Village Antiques opened a showroom at the Boston Design Center. In 1996 the stores were combined under one roof at the Boston Design Center location. Over the years, Brookline Village Antiques has established a reputation as a premier source of English, Continental and American antiques and fine art to discerning interior designers from all over New England.
